    • Big enough to carry your sleeping bag, clothes and some food

FOR YOUR INFORMATION

Your backpack : Should be a good quality external frame pack. It would be good if you could tie your gun to it. On the hunt the pack should weigh no more than 30 lbs. Everything else will be left in the main camp. Remember you will be carrying this pack up and down the mountain.

Your clothes : Should be lightweight and warm. I try to buy clothes that will dry out in the wind fast. I do not bring rain pants because my hunting pants are waterproof. It is better to have layers than bulky clothing.

Baggage : 50 lb per person allowed. This will be strictly enforced.

Soft gun cases : The charter flight service asks clients to leave hard gun cases in Smithers. Please bring a soft gun case for the airplane. We have a place to leave hard gun cases in Smithers.

Gun insurance : We recommend all hunters purchase extra coverage for their rifles while in transit with the airline companies.
